TyneCycles.co.uk - Staff rides, Brian

Brian

Brian, the owner of the shop like nothing more than topping up his tan in the USA or Spain. Unfortunatly that doesn't happen as often as he would like so you will usually find him in the shop with a cup of coffee in hand (He has also been known to make customers the occasional cup if they are spending enough).

Brian's Schwinn Moab HT is the shop work horse, it boasts a dependable Shimano Deore Drivetrain, Hope Mono Mini's. In addition to this we are putting the finishing touches to his Carbon GT Zaskar which will be kitted out with full Shimano XTR drivetrain, XT hydraulic disc's, Rock Shox SID World Cup forks along with the usual carbon seat post, stem, handlebar and £180 Prologo saddle.

Chris

After spending 7 years at a number of colleges across the North East studying for various degrees in Computer Science, Chris found he no longer wanted to work in the IT industry, he wanted something different. Chris started working at Tyne Cycles in July of 2005 and has gone from being a Spanner Monkey to our head sales person. Chris is also the person responsible for the creation and maintenance of this site.

Having sold his Giant STP, Chris is now on the look out for a sexy new ride, so far Giant's Reign 0 or Trek's Remedy 7 are taking his fancy.

TyneCycles.co.uk - Staff rides, Jack

Jack

Jack or Peanuts as he is known is the Saturday boy here at Tyne Cycles. When not in the shop Jack is either at college studying for his degree in Aerospace Engineering or out throwing himself off drops in his Proceed (usually in excess of 20ft). Jack is also known locally as a bit of a dab hand at Dirt Jumping and is the man to talk to about all thing Suspension related.

Jack is currently running a fully kitted out Proceed as his DH rig and a naughty little yellow NS Suburban as his dirt jump bike.
