A number of you have already enquired about having your bikes serviced either by phone or our contact page.

The beginning of the year is a good time for a service as it gets your bike back into good working order ready for the spring when most people are ready to start riding again. For those of you who use your bike to commute all year round now is a good time to have your cables lubed and your gears checked for wear to ensure your never late.

When it comes to bringing your bike into Tyne Cycles for a service it's sometimes a good idea to call ahead to make sure we have the time to work on your bike and get it back to you within a reasonable time frame. All bikes are repaired / serviced on a first come first served basis.

We will be closing for xmas at 2pm on the 24th Dec, please could you have all bikes which are still waiting to be picked up collected before 1pm on Thursday 24th as we do not wish to ruin anyone's xmas. Between xmas and new year (29th to the 31st) we will be opening from 10am till 2pm, come Sat 2nd January we will be back to normal 9am till 5pm opening hours.

In addition to this we have had a number of customers asking if its true we are closing down, this is NOT TRUE and steps have been taken to stop these rumours.
